And again and again and again,
I’m a stranger in a foreign land
It’s not in my control it’s out of my hands
I’ve been brought to a world that seems new,
To redo everything that was true
And to learn once again what that world expects out of you

But fitting in does it ever happen?
Is there a time when a stranger knows he belongs?
It’s when one returns to their country of birth
Singing a distant foreigner’s song

This is the way to conquer the world
Trying to live off your charms
Despite good friends the world will reveal
Your home lies in some stranger’s arms

And again and again and again,
I’m a stranger in a foreign land
But I’ve made it and I’m happy knowing I can
My family is in different places,
Strangers are my oases
It’s what happens when kids are taken away from their lands!

But now I think, I really believe
When one belongs and comes from nowhere
To stay alive, to simply survive
One finds they can make it almost anywhere
